Join the SEINE Team - Schedule a date to collect data for our database

Our goal is to Seine each site every other week. If you are interested in assisting, we will meet you at the site with all the necessary field equipment and data sheets, provide field support, and post your data into our data base. We use a standard protocol and prefer to seine within two hours of low tide but realize some groups may not have this flexibility.

To Participate

• Check the calendar to determine dates not already scheduled for monitoring. (Click on Agenda for a list of dates already scheduled)
• Check a tide table to determine time of low tide on days you are interested in participating. If possible, chose to seine within two hours of low tide.
• Notify us by email or phone of the dates you plan to participate. If you email, leave a phone number for confirmation.
• Make phone contact one day prior to the scheduled seine date to confirm plans.
